Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Design Engineer to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in advanced surface modeling and plastic product design to develop high-quality components, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring next-generation products to life.

Experience: 1 to 4 years
Education: Engineering Mechanical-engineer
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Modeling: Utilize CATIA to create complex, high-precision surface and solid models.
- Product Development: Design robust plastic products while applying strong manufacturing knowledge (injection molding, parting lines, draft angles, etc.).
- Technical Documentation: Prepare, analyze, and interpret technical reports, design documentation, and presentations ensuring strict compliance with industry design rules and regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges and optimize design performance.
- Communication: Clearly articulate design concepts, progress, and technical insights to stakeholders and team members.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Requirements
CATIA Expertise: Exceptional proficiency in CATIA, specifically with advanced surface modeling features.
Domain Knowledge: Strong fundamentals in plastic product design and manufacturing processes.
Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate and interpret technical documentation and compliance standards.
Preferred (Added Advantages)
- Experience in Automotive Lighting design is highly desirable.
