The IITM – Summer Fellowship Programme of two months with stipend is designed to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students through a goal-oriented summer internship undertaken at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
Eligibility:
- Candidates pursuing 3rd year of UG (BE / BTech / BSc Eng) or 3rd or 4th year of Integrated/Dual Degree in master’s Programme (ME / MTech / MSc) programme
- 1st year of MSc / MA, MBA with outstanding academic background in terms of high ranks in university examinations are encouraged to apply
- Period of the Summer Fellowship Programme: The programme is likely to commence from 19th May 2025 to 18th July 2025
- Stipend: A sum of Rs.15000/- per month will be given as a stipend for a maximum period of 2 months, prorated for the actual period of internship at IIT Madras

Hostel and Mess facility will be provided on payment basis, subject to availability.
